Syllabus

Theory:Concept of Yoga, Basis of Yoga and Methods of Yoga, Concept of Body, Health, Aliments and Remedies, Anatomy & Physiology of specific ailments, etiology and management Integrated approach of Yoga Therapy, Theory of Yogic practices: Asanas (b) Kriyas (c) Pranayama (d) Dhyana (e) Devotional Session and (f) Karma Yoga

Practice: Basic set of Yoga practices for specific ailments Special techniques & Counselling (based on prescription of doctors)

Easy Yoga Techniques:The three-fold maxim of Yoga Therapy is used: Relax the body, Slow down the breath, and Calm the mind.

Special Techniques : Yoga was believed to be only preventive. Yoga Therapy Research has shown that it can be useful even in acute cases like asthmatic episodes. YOGA CHAIR BREATHING is one such special technique which will be taught to asthmatics that increases their faith and develop confidence. These techniques are complimentary to other effective treatments for which the modem medical science is known.
